Almost a parody on corny 1970’s detective and police programs, the music video for “Sabotage” stars Beastie Boys band members Adam’ MCA’ Yauch, Adam’ Ad-Rock’ Horowitz, and Michael’ Mike D’ Diamond. Throughout the video, the Beastie Boys play with the tropes of widely syndicated shows such as Hawaii Five-0, S.W.A.T, and Starsky and Hutch, featuring shaky fight scenes and foot chases. In addition, a questionable prop dummy is thrown off of a bridge. Despite the comedic value, the low-budget music video failed to pick up any MTV Music Video Award. However, it is one of the best and most well-known Beastie Boys videos.
