Duran Duran is an English new wave and synth-pop band formed in Birmingham in 1978. The band’s original lineup consisted of Simon Le Bon (vocals), Nick Rhodes (keyboards), John Taylor (bass), Roger Taylor (drums), and Andy Taylor (guitar). Duran Duran is known for its stylish, glamorous image and its hit songs such as “Hungry Like the Wolf,” “Rio,” and “The Wild Boys.” The band has released 14 studio albums, including its 1981 self-titled debut album and its 1993 album “Duran Duran (The Wedding Album),” which spawned the hit single “Ordinary World.” Duran Duran has sold more than 100 million records worldwide and has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
